Your Good Over my Rights
Now that we know we're created for relationship and not isolation. What do we do when we don't agree? What do we do when we figure out we're gathered...and we're different? Romans 15 (with some background set in Romans 14) helps us settle some of these issues. The first thing we do is focus on Jesus and accept one another. We have to put aside selfishness. The mark of maturity is one that says, "I'm ready to put aside my rights so that others might be helped." This is the mark of one that truly understands the sacrifice of Jesus and the gift of grace we have received and must share with others.
