Fasting?
Seriously?! People still do that? You bet. Fasting can be a powerful and effective way to focus our heart and mind on God in order to hear Him more readily and clearly. In Matthew 6, we are not commanded to fast, and at the same time Jesus assumes that we will fast when the occasion calls for such focus. Listen to this week's message about a practice that has nothing to do with diet and everything to do with a desire to hear from Jesus.
